Juha-Pekka Ikäheimo is a Finnish painter born in 1972.
Numerous exhibitions in Finland since 2004, his first exhibition outside of Finland was in November 2022 in Fuengirola, Spain.
He is influenced for example by the art of Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock and Jorge Rando and likes to paint fast in an expressionistic and sometimes abstract style.
His favorite technique is acrylic on canvas or mdf board and a bit of oil and oil stick at the end.

“As an artist, I am self-taught and luckily I still have a lot to learn (is it a sign of wisdom to understand that one does not know everything in life?). However, I recognize what pleases my eyes and what does not. When I start a work of art, many times I have no idea what my new painting is about and in the end, the result surprises even me. Sometimes, I feel that I am only the means by which I manage to sprout life to my painting to wake up.”
